Howard Johnson Plaza by Wyndham Ocean City Oceanfront

"Originally was only going to stay one night, but hotel was so nice we extended our stay. I needed assistance several times during this visit, first to update reservation to modify the two room reservation to mix room types (1 king/ 1 double) and second time to extend reservation. The front desk agent, Shadae, was friendly, efficient, and didn't mind reviewing and updating the reservation on either day to assist me with my request. We had a side ocean view, this is still an incredible ocean view. If you have an upper floor room, due to the orientation of this side view hotel room, you can sit on the balcony and watch the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening which is added value. The Hotel sits on the boardwalk and easy access to the beach. The only negative note, the hot tub wasn't very hot and the chemicals seemed out of balance maybe it was recently treated before we tried to use it. Everything else about hotels location, room, and staff made for an enjoyable stay."

"Cleanest hotel on the boardwalk I’ve ever been to. The housekeeping staff (Maria!) was on point and they had our room ready early which was amazing!! The front desk (Jamie!) was super friendly and helpful. Text responses were prompt and we just felt so welcome by everyone we passed in the halls. The location right on the boardwalk is amazing. Just pop down onto the boardwalk and turn to your immediate right for the most DELICIOUS fresh made cinnamon donuts of your LIFE!! Too bad the jellyfish kept most people out of the water but that’s not HoJo’s fault haha. Only thing that could have made this better for over $500 a night would be a free (good) breakfast. There are a few restaurants within feet of the hotel but it would be a nice touch to include it. All in all we will definitely be back!!"

"We spent a 3-day, 2-night weekend here with family and friends, including both kids and teens, and we all had a fantastic time! The location is absolutely perfect—right next to the boardwalk and the beach, which made things incredibly convenient. The rooms were very clean and surprisingly quiet at night, allowing everyone to get a good night's rest. It’s an excellent hotel, especially for families, and there are tons of great food options just steps away. Highly recommend!"
